Election

Today, marks the 12th general election for my country Malaysia. For those citizens who has reach the age of 21 and have registered themselves are eligible to vote today at the polling station that has been arranged for easy voting counts later on.

The polling starts today at 8am till 5pm. Today polling is very important as which ever party that wins will form the Federal Government and the 12 state governments except Sarawak for the next coming 4 years.

Of course, not forgetting myself to exercise my democratic right to vote too. As this is my first time as a voter, i do feel a bit nervous to cast my vote this afternoon. What should i say, the feeling of nervousness suddenly disappear when i finished casting my vote. :)

The process is very simple. First, do remember to bring your identity card/driving licence to the first counter outside the polling station to check your eligibility. Then, you have to registered yourself at the next counter to know which room you should cast your vote. Next, inside the room, you are being given two voting forms, one for Parliament and the other for the state. After ticking which ever party you choose, you are required to leave the room. Easy right? No hassle... So have you exercise your democratic rights yet?

Before i conclude this post of mine, i want to wish my friend, Miss Kumutha Rahman all the best for her election in Johore!

Can't wait for the results of the voting later at night. Shall blog again when i'm free....
