The chinese dumpling festival is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calender. The festival is celebrated in remembrance of Qu Yuan, a acholar in the kingdom of Chu during the Warring States period. When the Chu capital was taken over by their neighbour, Qu Yuan drowned himself in the river. Afraid that the fish would devour his body, the people threw packets of rice into the river. Time is like a thief, It has taken away some of my precious memo. But when I take stock of the losses in anxiety, I see you there, right there, intact. Consciously striving to improve life and dare to dream...

Hang out
Mushroom soup
Black pepper chicken chop with fries and potato salads
Seetal herbal jelly with longans
Movie ends at 5pm which i find the animation very hilarious especially the part where the Shifu trained Po using foods as bait for learning kung fu! Since we were not rushing to go home, we have a little snack at McDonalds with me having chicken nuggets and Coke while Seetal have sundae chocolate. Our chit chatting last for an hour where we finally depart for the journey home at 6.15pm with a photo together.

Starting yesterday night, been helping mum to prepare the glutinous rice balls comprises of red, white, green and yellow colours which mum cook this morning with syrup for prayers of ancestors and deities.
"Yuen" means round in mandarin signifying completeness and perfection. According to tradition belief, you will grow a year older after eating tang yuen as it symbolises the beginning of a year soon.
